The mission of the University of Illinois Chicago Police Department’s Grant Committee is to compete nationally, statewide, and locally for public and private investments that would assist in enhancing the quality of life for the UIC community and surrounding neighborhoods. The Grant Committee seeks to identify funding opportunities to prepare and submit grant applications on behalf of UICPD.
The Grant Committee’s pre-award duties include identifying potential funding sources, disseminating information, meeting with staff to determine funding needs, collaborating with staff to discuss grant requirements and preparation and preparing and submitting required application materials.
The Grant Committee’s post-award responsibilities include facilitating contract execution, assisting with the implementation of grants and coordinating materials and events related to grant awards.
