The Tactics and Scenario Unit was established to strengthen the knowledge, skills and abilities of all UICPD officers. The unit utilizes both classroom learning and realistic scenario-based training modules that focus on various aspects of law enforcement including patrol tactics, rapid deployment, proper use of force, incident command and law to improve officer capabilities. This unit provides officers the opportunity to prepare for the advanced challenges faced by police officers in today’s world.
